More than 24 hours after the president of the KNUST SRC was subjected to various levels of slaps by some miscreants who have so far been identified as alumni of CONTI, no arrest has yet been made.
The perpetrators, namely; Godfred Owusu Afriyie popularly known as “Illuminati”, Adongo Kennedy, Stephen Oppong K. Nkrumah, Bernard Anokye also known as “Toski”, Samuel Antwi Poakuah popularly known as ” Continental Sparrow”, Agyemang and others ambushed the Adu Baah Charles around the Animal Science Department, in what looked like a kidnap into a taxi and driven to a popular food joint close to Rakho School, Kotei.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 29th September 2019.
According to rumors, the actors of the illegal activities were demanding a share of the Ketewa Biara Nsua Fund, and annual bursary which is supposed to be allocated to needy students.
Even though the SRC has promised to push for major security shake-up to its students on campus and seek justice after the SRC’s president, there seems to be no action taken against the perpetrators.
Will there possibly be an arrest or justice to be served as the SRC is calling for or not?
